EPQ Methodology
Our focus is on academic excellence and the development of knowledge and skills, integrated with reflective project management, to achieve the highest EPQ grades (A and A*).
24 online academic meetings (Microsoft Teams) focus on research question formulation, literature review writing, data collection and analysis methods, and discussion of findings. Alongside this, we integrate skills in project planning, reflective log writing, and communication into a comprehensive mentoring programme.
Students progress and written work is reviewed with in-depth weekly feedback and comments.

Research in 2017-21 reported that over 90% of EPQ students achieved high-grade (1st or 2:1) while non-EPQ students never achieved over 90% - an EPQ is a pathway to a better university and a better university degree outcome.
Fill out the Enquiry Form to express your interest in ProfEPQPlus. This form asks the student to provide an educational profile, GCSE subjects and grades, and a short outline of their interest and ambition in undertaking an EPQ.
An online interview with the student and parents/guardian will be arranged to discuss the student's EPQ and ProfEPQPlus.
The complete fee for ProfEPQPlus for 2026-27 is £5,000 payable in two instalments. The fee includes all 24 meetings, weekly research training and resources, multiple rounds of feedback and comments on written report drafts, plus feedback on the reflective planning log and the end of project presentation report.
